About us

Vismarlöv is a small village in the middle of the countryside outside Malmö. Here you find our Café & Bakery. The house was built quite recently but consists in many parts of recycled material from farm houses in the neighbourhood.

The furniture and decorations are the result of many years of collecting countryside antiquities. Next to the café there is a garden with flowers and a pond with ducks. In the summer you can pack your basket in the café and have a picnic in the garden.

In July 2010 the café, the bakery and the shop opened. Mrs Carina Levin who runs this place had the ambition to create a place for everyone, old and young. A place where you can enjoy a cup of coffee with homemade bakery or a delicious sandwich based on leaven bread from our stoneovens. All our bread, buns and cakes and the scanian speciality “cake baked on a spit” (Spettekaka) are served in the café or sold in the shop. In the shop we also offer our homemade marmalades, fruit syrups, mustards and honey from our own beehives.

It is very important for us to maintain the skill of craftsmanship in the business and our effort is, when possible, to use ecological rawmaterial produced in the neighbourhood.

We wish welcome to spend some time in our cosy café.
